A homeowner in Tucker, GA, contacted us after noticing signs of a possible water leak in their home. Before filing an insurance claim with Liberty Mutual, Level Creek inspected the property. This is an important step in determining whether the damage is typically a covered loss or not. After the inspection, we immediately notified the homeowner's insurance agent about the sudden leak and began installing drying equipment to reduce the humidity and prevent further damage.
The leak started in the garage and caused extensive damage throughout the main level, including warped hardwood floors, water-stained drywall, and mold spots on the ceiling. Our mitigation team responded quickly, using drying fans, dehumidifiers, and abatement techniques to thoroughly dry and clean the area.
After extracting the water from the ceiling leak, we removed and replaced the damaged drywall, then installed new laminate vinyl plank flooring (LVP) throughout the home. The restoration team turned this damaged home into a clean, safe, and beautifully restored space ready for the homeowner to return!
Homeowners: Are you unsure if your property damage warrants filing a claim or is a covered loss? Call us first. We'll inspect the damage and communicate with you and your insurance agent to help you make the right decision.
A homeowner, insured by Liberty Mutual, initially contacted us to inspect the property after suspecting a water leak. The water leak damaged several areas of the home. This before-and-after features the flood cuts made within the drywall of the upstairs bathroom. Flood cuts are made by cutting out and removing sections of drywall that are impacted by water damage. This technique involves minimal demolition above where the water reaches, which prevents further moisture damage and mold.
